Welcome to another wonderful week at Bogworld.com.  What a frakking bizarre week it was. Especially if you’re someone obsessed with 1980s celebrity icons. In one day we lost the King of Pop and the Queen of all posters. Where do I begin?

Are you like me? In the back of your mind you’re still really thinking this has all been just another one of those bizarre publicity stunts and Michael is probably going to turn up again wandering Main Street USA at Disneyland.  Admit it. It is the sort of thing Jackson might do.

But since its pretty hard to fake a death that included a postmortem examination by the LA county medical examiner.  I guess we have to concede he is probably really dead.

Transformers 2-Revenge of the Fallen
Yup. I saw it. And of course I saw it in IMAX.  There is no doubt about it. Transformers 2 is going to be one of the biggest hits of the summer.  It delivers precisely what Transformer fans are going to be expecting. Giant robots kicking ass.  In fact of all the movies featuring giant robots kicking ass this summer, Transformers 2-Revenge of the Fallen is by far the best. 

Transformers 2 shares the same excuse of content that makes or breaks the Jurassic Park movies. All Jurassic Park movies only have to deliver realistic looking dinosaurs chasing people and they will be a hit. Transformer movies really only have to deliver giant robots knocking crap over and crashing into things and thats it. Hit. And Transformers 2 delivers that in spades. More so than the original in fact.

Welcome to Bogworld. And thank you for being patient while I took a little breather from the website. Let me explain what’s going on. I have my regular job with a really great technology company. I have a part time job on the weekends running an IMAX projector at one of the coolest theaters around. I recently took on the challenge of a corporate pilot program for the technology company so I have been working extra hours developing presentations and strategies to get that off the ground. This past week this same company launched an exciting new version of its most popular product. My father is recovering from a severe stroke and my family is dealing with the surrounding challenges that presents. I have a popular cartoon website and blog. Oh and I have a book deal and I am working on a novel.
