From the Bog Blog...
Its going to be like reading an electronic comic book. I want to be right on top of that when this new technology hits the public in a month or so.
So what’s on my mind this week?
The Super Bowl
Who won the Super Bowl this year? I’m pretty sure its not really going to be the Colts of the Saints. I’m guessing the real winning is going to be Madison Avenue. Television commercials seem to be what people talk about as much as, if not more than, the game itself. Hey, the last few Super Bowls have actually been pretty good games. And yet people seem just as interested in the ads.

Yes I was planning to draw a new cartoon tonight but then I got wrapped up in this video someone sent to me. Its a video of President Obama appearing before the Republican Caucus answering questions. I think its important for you all to take a look...
The thing that gets me is reading the comments under the video. I added the note “Everything is a lie if you don’t believe the truth.” I wrote it after someone commented how good Obama was at dancing around the truth and what a gifted liar he is. Welcome to another week at Bogworld. I’m trying to keep the fresh cartoons coming. It was a pretty good week for updates. Hopefully I can do that again this week.
Lots on my mind so lets get started...
The State of the Union
I thought the state of the union address this past week was a perfect little snapshot of what’s right and what’s wrong with this country today. We have a really good President who’s hands are being tied by an absolutely ineffectual Congress.
It would be easy to blame it all on the “Just Say No” approach the Republicans have taken on literally everything since Obama took office. But the Democrats have the clear majority and still nothings really getting done. The so-called Super Majority that the Democrats just lost when Kennedy’s Senate seat was recently taken by a Republican is a myth. A “super majority” only comes into play when there is a filibuster to vote down. In just about any ...
